Aladdin Campus Dining, the dining services partner of Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) Rangely, CO, since 2021, is proud to add a We Proudly Serve Starbucks program to the college campus and to the community “off campus.” Students, faculty, and members of the community celebrated the iconic brand during a ribbon-cutting celebration on Thursday, September 21st!
Ranked as one of the top in-demand beverages on college campuses, We Proudly Serve Starbucks was highly anticipated at CNCC as well as in the community. According to James Caldwell, CNCC Vice President of Finance, “We are really excited to bring We Proudly Serve Starbucks to the school — it’s a great partnership of bringing “home” to the college community. This is a true partnership between the college, students, staff, and town. Thanks for the support from the custodial and facilities departments at CNCC. “
In attendance were representatives of the Rangely Area Chamber of Commerce who were equally excited about the opportunity for the students and community! Representatives stated that this creates more of a college feel to a rural college campus. It also bridges the gap to welcoming the community on campus by the smell of coffee when you hit the door.
Under the management of Roger Rowley, Aladdin Campus Dining food service director, the new We Proudly Serve Starbucks is located in Sparty’s Brewed Awakening Café, Weiss Building, providing an additional venue for students craving specialty beverages. Breelyn Button, a CNCC sophomore student says, “Overall this is a convenient spot for both college students and people from the community -it’s also great for social gatherings on campus, and plus it’s STARBUCKS!”
We Proudly Serve Starbucks is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
