Aladdin is excited to announce a new partnership with Friends University, a private nondenominational Christian university in Wichita, Kansas. A leader in higher education culinary and hospitality services, Aladdin was selected for its demonstrative professionalism and capability to deliver high-quality, cost-effective food service, thereby enhancing the campus dining experience. Aladdin began services on July 1st.
“The level of professionalism demonstrated by Aladdin during the Friends University’s evaluation process led to confidence in the management team to deliver the desired food service experience for our campus in a cost-effective way,” says Friends University CFO Scott Frey.
Students and faculty will have delicious choices from Aladdin’s diversified brand portfolio in the dining hall where fresh food using seasonal ingredients will be prepared by an executive chef. An enhanced salad bar will showcase a variety of fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients. Guests can create their own salads with an array of crisp produce and flavorful grain bowls.
Students will also have the opportunity to select healthy choice menu options and learn about nutrition and wellness through the company’s BeWell platform, including Fueled, a value-added sports nutrition program.
Craving late night bites…? Aladdin will offer late night food options such as sandwiches, wings and pizza satisfy after hour hunger pains! Aladdin will feature a variety of options in the main residential hall. With a customized, made-to-order menu tailored exclusively for campus, students can savor their favorites like burgers and tenders, along with exciting specialty items available for a limited time.
Students returning in August will also experience a new look that complements Aladdin’s brands featuring new and sustainable products including digital signage, merchandizing and service ware.
Professional catering services will be available where our catering manager will help customers select and create perfect menus for academic and conferences, as well as special and charitable events.
Renovations to the c-store will enhance the look and feel, and offer new snack brands, fresh grab- and-go meals, grocery staples and sundries.
In the lower level of the student center, a rotating station featuring trending concepts popular with students include Chilaca, a fast-casual Mexican brand that serves tacos, burritos, and bowls topped with a choice of fresh proteins and vegetables. A We Proudly Serve Starbucks, ranked as one of the top in-demand beverages on college campuses.
A full dining hall renovation is planned in the future. “We are thrilled about this incredible opportunity to collaborate with Friends University and foster a meaningful partnership.
