Cochise College and Aladdin were happy to hold a grand re-opening celebration of The Union Café on Wednesday, January 22. The café’s newly renovated debut on the Sierra Vista Campus in Arizona expands retail food and beverage options to support the college’s growth!
Cochise partnered with Aladdin in July of 2012 to execute high-quality dining, catering and hospitality expertise, which is also experienced at the main dining hall.
“Two weeks ago, the college celebrated the grand opening of Bugen Hall, the first student housing residence on the Sierra Vista Campus. Bugen Hall is a 20,000-square-foot facility providing accommodations for 45 students who will live in suite-style apartments. Expanded food options like The Union Café, will help us to create convenient, healthier and fresh on-the-go food items for our continued growth,” says Dr. Wendy Davis, Vice President for Administration for Cochise College.
Located in the college’s student union building, The Union Café offers both walk up and seating for up to 80 students. Students enjoy fresh, made-to -order meals and a pizza station with a variety of fresh toppings. Fresh to Go, Aladdin’s in-house made grab-and-go items, will also offer a variety of fresh options – from our BeWell healthier foods, salads and sandwiches to fruit cups and parfaits.
“We are thrilled to support the school’s growth. Focused on the student dining experience, we look forward to working with college leadership on additional hospitality needs reflective of today’s college dining trends,” said Aladdin Campus Dining Food Service Director Tammi Brice.
The Union Café is open Monday through Frida 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for brunch; with dinner served from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
