New Food Locker Makes Meals To Go Easy, Quick and Safe

Aladdin Campus Dining’s “Food” Locker makes lunch delivery and pick-up easy, quick, and safe for students, faculty, and staff at Purdue University Northwest in Hammond, IN.  Using Aladdin’s Order + Eat Campus Dining App, students can conveniently order meals online from The Pride Café that are delivered to the Food Locker located in the newly renovated CLO Building which offers lounge spaces for students to study, socialize… and now dine!

According to Aladdin Food Service Director Diane Wisniewski, the Food Locker is equipped with three compartments, perfect for take-out meals — a plus for contactless and safe deliveries!  “The Food Locker’s location is ideal as students can pre-order their meals as they make their way to the CLO,” says Diane.

Students order Aladdin’s signature brands from the App including WeBurg, classic and specialty burgers; Chilaca fast-casual Mexican food; Sub Stand, made-to-order deli sandwiches, and wraps; and Dabrix, pizza prepared with homemade dough and served by the slice!

Once orders are ready, students receive a text and a code they use to scan at the Food Locker to access their meal.  “Deliveries are made at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2 p.m.  – an easy and safe option for students to pick up and enjoy lunch at the CLO or for on-the-go dining,” says Diane.

The new CLO space, combined with the new Food Locker, is also increasing sales by 28% at Leo’s Market, serving grab-and-go foods and snacks in the CLO.

New for fall, Leo’s now offers We Proudly Serve Starbucks!  “Students can also use the App to order We Proudly Serve Starbucks coffee or specialty beverages that they can pick at Leo’s,” says Diane.

Aladdin has served the university since 2022.
