North Idaho College Partners with Aladdin Campus Dining

Aladdin is thrilled to elevate and personalize the dining services experience for North Idaho College students, faculty, staff and campus visitors who desire fresh and creative options.  Aladdin began catering services on July 1. The Market and The Caffeinated Cardinal will open August 19.

Aladdin’s varied services, approach to wellness, and customer focus will complement the nutritional needs of our campus community – and the menu options look delicious,” Business Manager DHC Steve McGroarty said.

Students and faculty will be able to choose from Aladdin’s diversified branded concepts for dine in or take-out in The Market including WeBurg, a modern throwback to the American roadside grill, serving classic burgers all prepared with fresh ground beef and UpTown Sam’s, a modern-day deli starring super-fresh ingredients with unique flavor combination; and Street Foods serving what’s popular with street food vendors like gyros, tacos, steak and chicken fajitas, fries, cheesesteaks, and Asian-inspired foods.

To complement The Market’s offerings, an expansive new salad bar will offer Grains and Greens with seasonal and crisp produce, along with grain bowls and fresh grab-and-go options. Students will also have an opportunity to select healthy choice menu options and learn about nutrition and wellness through the company’s BeWell platform, including Fueled, a value-added sports nutrition program.

Professional catering services will also be offered where Catering Manager Marie Koch will help clients select and create perfect menus for various events. For more information about catering services, contact Ms. Koch at (208) 769-7771.

Aladdin is also excited to continue offering a variety of “must-have” menu items in The Cardinal Café including locally loved DOMA coffees. Aladdin is committed to supporting local businesses and when possible, incorporates these local favorites into its portfolio of trending brands. Sourcing local agriculture and using seasonal ingredients is also a top priority in enhancing the freshness of our food offerings.

It will be an incredible year of changes, and our team is excited to enhance the student dining experience and their life here on campus,Aladdin Chef Manager Peter Bowen said.

Students returning in August will experience a new look dining service that complements Aladdin’s brands featuring new and sustainable products including digital signage, merchandizing and service ware.

We truly value the partnership we are entering into with North Idaho College and the surrounding community,” Aladdin District Manager Mark Slater said.As we welcome the students back in August, we are excited to show them the enhancements we will be implementing to the food service program, in making their college experience a memorable one.”
